As I was checking out my many coupon sites for new coupons, I stumbled across a link to redplum.  I have not noticed a website for them before.  This may not be new information to the really savy saver, but it was to me.  I have added the link to my website.  I tried printing coupons from both IE and Firefox and it seemed to work with both, no additional downloads needed.  HOWEVER, the printable coupons are linked to coupons.com and if you have already printed your limit there, you can’t get any additional coupons from this site.  It does have unique coupons that are not listed at coupons.com or smartsource, so it is worth a look.

Thanks for stopping by, and Happy Savings.

One of my personal goals in life is to become more efficient.  I waste a lot of time doing nothing, and I don’t really have that kind of time to waste.  Being unorganized can cost money, and here is how I know that to be true.  The boys decided to dump all of my recycle newspapers onto the living room floor this morning to reclaim the basket I was using to store them in.  As I was picking them up I came across some coupons.  It is not unusual for me to discard coupons I have no intention of using, and as it stands now, I don’t have anyone close by that I can exchange coupons with.  Something on my to do list.  But as I examined them more closely I found these were Dillon’s coupons from last Sundays paper that were offering additional savings on things Dillons has on sale through Tuesday.  Example…Hunt’s Snack Pack Pudding are $1.00 each.  This insert has a coupon for $.50 off two.  That would make these $.50 each.  Peter Pan Peanut Butter on sale for $1.99 each, insert has coupon for $1.00 off 2.  That’s $1.49 each.  And the list goes on.  I hope you don’t find yourself in the same situation.  I have just gone through the house and found about 3 weeks worth of inserts and printable coupons that I had stashed some where (not in the same place each time, with the intention of going through them later) that I need to cut out and sort into my 3 ring binder.  (at least I went through it the other day and discarded all the expired coupons)

Doesn’t look like I’m doing a very good job helping others save, when I don’t even know what coupons I have!  I apologize to anyone relying on me to cut down on your own search time.  I will make working on this short coming a top priority to fix!  In the mean time I challenge anyone with the same “disorder” to commit to making a positive change too!  Making the world a better place has to start at home!

Today I challenge myself to get all my coupons in order, and find one neighbor to swap coupons with.  If you have a personal challenge you want to profess, fell free to leave a comment!  If you have a suggestion to help me be a more organized individual, please feel free to share that with me.  I am open to finding better ways!

If you too are a procrastinator, please start today with one change to make your life more organized, less stressful, and more fulfilling.

Happy Savings!

The title refers to two things.  Printable coupons, and what those printable coupons can buy!  Today I was at my regular Dillon’s at Central and Maize Rd.  It has recently undergone an expansion to make it a Mega Dillons.  More space does not mean more selection.  I have a $.25 coupon to redeem from cellfire, for Cottonelle tp.  Dillon’s carried the 4 pack regular rolls for $.99.  Cottonelle usually put out a $.50 coupon for any size. Dillons’ doubles the coupon. That meant free tp.  Today I discovered there was no spot for the four regular rolls anymore!  NO FREE TP!  Luckily I have about 10 more Dillons in a 5 mile radius, so I’ll check a few others, but they all seem to carry the same products so I may be screwed!  (by the way,  Cottonelle coupons are available now!)

In my most recent post “Don’t Miss Out on Great Printable Coupons” I recommended that serious savers check the coupon sites a lot.  Daily.  Here is a reason why.  I told you there was a Mott’s $.55 off juice or apple sauce…not anymore.  It’s gone, just that fast!  Keep checking the Mott’s site though, the Ensure coupons weren’t available for about 3 weeks after I noticed the link on the couponsinc list.

If you don’t make it a habit to check out the printable coupon sites on a regular basis (I check two of them every day) you could be missing out on some great coupons.  Tonight I decided to give couponinc. a look.  They are the master minds behind coupons.com.  Not every campaign they create has a coupon on coupons.com.  Some are strictly related to the manufacturers site.  If you don’t know about their promotion, you might not get the savings.  What I found tonight made me giddy all over.  Here is a little run down.

Old Orchard Juice $1 off 12 oz frozen concentrate.

Wish-Bone dressing $.75 off one bottle

Jell-o pudding or gelatin snacks $.60 off one

Hillshire Farm sausage product $.55 off two

Mott’s Juice or Sauce $.55 off any size, any flavor

Ensure (for Dad) $3.00 off any six pack

There’s a whole list of others I haven’t mentioned that might make you giddy too!  If you don’t know how to get to the site, just go to my website, where I have a link.  While you’re there, make me feel wanted and sign up for my newsletter.  I won’t spam you with a bunch of crappy offers.  I’m not that sophisticated!

Happy Saving!

P.S.  A special shout out to condron.us for all the hits to my blog!

Special thanks to www.condron.us and www.alphainventions.com for the visits!

The Mega Event has some items held over, most noteably the Nature Valley Granola Bars, and Dole Fruit Bowls.  I still have coupons to use on these, and you might still be able to print some of the Nature Valley.  I of course have exhausted that ability!

But WOW on some other items -99 cent eggs!  Strawberries and blackberries $1.88!   Kroger butter $1.99!  And Kroger IQF chicken breast or tenderloin, 3lb bag for $4.98!  That’s a stock up price!

And don’t be afraid of the Kroger Value items that have a great everyday low price.  I’ve been using the wheat bread for a month now, and it’s always fresh and has a good taste.  The buns are a great deal too!  Had brats and dogs last night and the buns were very fresh and pliable.  Not dried out and tough.  I bought the onions last week for $1.99.  These onions are small and have a very mild taste.  They’ve been great to work with.  Cantaloupes for $1.58 each.  I hope that’s not a misprint.

Oh yea, and the Dr. Pepper and Kroger Deluxe Ice cream.  DP is 4/$11 if you buy one Cherry DP.  I can live with that.  The Kroger Deluxe Ice Cream, yum.  One of our favorites is the Babe Ruth flavor.  I keep my ice cream in a 1 gallon freezer bag to preserve the freshness.  And for $1.99, I’ll be buying several kinds!

For all you new parents or parents to be, (friends or relative of new parents too!) I hope you are printing off the Huggies coupons whenever you see them, AND loading them onto your Plus card.  They are on sale for $9.99 this week.  If you have printed off the recent $3 coupons, and are loading the coupons from shortcuts and cellfire, you could be getting these for $5.49 per package.  So far I haven’t had a situation where the cellfire and the shortcuts both give me the savings on the same item.  If they do however, you could actually save $1 more.  $4.49 for diapers!  Huggies diapers!  Wow!  That is a stock up price!

I have noticed recently two different sites that seem to direct readers to my blog, and hopefully on to my website.  The first one is Alphainventions.com the other is Condron.us.  I’m still not sure how either of these works, since I don’t ever see my blogs when I go to these sites.  But hopefully they’ll help me become more established.
